Join us for Community of Practice Session with special guest Professor Laura Lundy.
Professor Laura Lundy is a world-renowned expert in children’s rights and a Professor of Children’s Rights at Queen’s University Belfast. It is Professor Lundy’s Model of Participation that Highlands children and young people have chosen as their preferred model for our practice.
Connect with practitioners across Highland, and hear from local and national voices, to explore how we can meaningfully embed the Highland Children & Young People Participation Strategy in everyday practice.
Monthly sessions will include:
- Presentations from local or national speakers
- Q&A to deepen understanding
- Time for conversation, networking and informal sharing to support collaboration across Highland
Together, we’ll look at how others are working with children and young people to bring the Strategy to life and strengthen participation across services.
Our work is underpinned by the Lundy Model of Participation, the UNCRC, GIRFEC, and The Promise.
Supporting rights‑based, inclusive and relational practice.
