Highland GIRFEC Refresh & Reset – Dingwall

These sessions aim to refresh and develop a shared understanding of Getting It Right for Every Child across the partnership. This is in response to the findings from our Children’s Service Inspection for children at risk of harm, and the updating of the Highland Practice Guidance/Child Protection Procedures.

You will have the opportunity to review the updated Practice Model and Child Protection Guidance for Highland, and discuss key issues in small working groups. The sessions will focus on the key elements of the Practice Model, changes to Child Protection procedures, and the wider training required by staff and services across the Partnership.

This is your chance to contribute to the implementation of the updated Guidance based on the National GIRFEC model and National Child Protection Guidance.

Open to all practitioners, managers, senior leaders and services in Highland working with children and families.

Venue and more details will be sent on booking confirmation, please note there is a pre attendance emodule (approx 2 hours) to complete before attending which will be sent out prior to the event.

Places are available free of charge but may be limited per team/service/agency depending on demand.

Please note, the CPC do operate a non-attendance charge of £30 if places are not taken up and no notice is given (at least 48 hours before event).
