This training is available to all practitioners who have direct and regular contact with children, young people and parents/carers (including adult services).
By the end of this training participants should:
- be confident in identifying indicators of risk and need
- be aware of the learning from local and national case reviews
- be able to contribute effectively to multi-disciplinary assessments
- know their roles and responsibilities in contributing to child protection meetings
This is a full-day course and participants are asked to make arrangements to be able to attend the whole day.
NB: The Child Protection Committee no longer provides lunches and you are asked to bring your own with you.
