SUMMARY:Solution Focused Meeting Training - In Person Inverness TBC
DESCRIPTION:Solution Focused Meeting Training\nThis course is for those who
  wish to develop their knowledge and skills when attending or facilitating
  Solution Focused Meetings in Highland. The day is made up of three sessio
 ns\; the first provides an opportunity to reflect on practice for meetings
  in general with the second and third sessions concentrating on Solution F
 ocused practice. It is therefore essential that attendees have completed t
 he Solution Focused Approaches where attendees have become familiar with t
 he principles and have practised Solution Focused skills and techniques. \
 nAttendees will have the opportunity to apply these skills and techniques 
 within a meeting forum and learn about using solution focused approaches i
 n meetings with different purposes\, including a systemic piece of work in
  a school and a meeting to plan and review the support for an individual. 
  \nThe overall objectives of the programme are to:\nSession 1 – Preparat
 ion for a good meeting:\n•	Develop knowledge of preparation for meetings
 \n•	Develop understanding of different perspectives when meetings are in
  person\, online and hybrid \n•	Develop understanding of the impact of d
 ifferent types of questions \nSession 2 – Systemic Solution Focused Meet
 ings \n•	Consolidate knowledge of the solution focused approach\n•	Dev
 elop understanding of how a solution foucsed approach can be used in meeti
 ngs\n•	Build experience of using a solution focused approach in meetings
 . \nSession 3 – Solution Focused Meetings for individuals \n•	Applying
  our knowledge and understanding of effective meetings e.g. in preparing a
 nd involving children and young people in meetings. \n•	Applying our kno
 wledge and understanding of solution focused practice by using solution fo
 cused skills and techniques \n•	Developing skills in facilitating soluti
 on focused meetings.\nThe course compliments the Highland GIRFEC training\
 , and the Solution Focused Approaches course is a pre-requisite for attend
 ees.  \nThe content will appeal to a wide range of practitioners within Ed
 ucation\, Health and Social Care – anyone who supports children and fami
 lies. This may include\, Social Workers\, Health Visitors\, Head Teachers\
 , Guidance staff\, School nurses\, Additional Support for Learning staff a
 nd many more. Those undertaking or preparing to undertake the role as Name
 d Person or Lead Professional\, are invited to attend this course.\nPlaces
  are available free of charge but may be limited per team/service/agency d
 epending on demand.\nPlease note\, the CPC do operate a non-attendance cha
 rge of £30 if places are not taken up and no notice is given (at least 48
