SUMMARY:Recognition & Response in Child Protection (Inverness)
DESCRIPTION:This training is designed for staff who have regular contact wi
 th children and/or families\, including those working within adult service
 s. This course takes a more in depth look at the different types of abuse 
 and neglect\, as well as giving participants information about managing di
 sclosures and handling sensitive situations.\n\nWhat can I expect from thi
 s training?\n\nBy the end of this training\, staff should:\n•Be able to 
 identify types of abuse and neglect\n•Recognise specific vulnerabilities
  in children and young people\n•Be confident in sharing concerns about c
 hildren\n•Know their roles and responsibilities in relation to child pro
 tection\n\nWho should attend?\n\nAll staff who have regular contact with c
 hildren and young people and/or their family members should attend this tr
 aining.\n\nIn particular those staff who:\n• Have regular contact with v
 ulnerable children and families\n• Carry out direct work with children a
 nd families\n• Contribute to assessments of children\, including assessm
 ent of risk\n• May be required to support the development and delivery o
 f the Child’s Plan\n• Have specific responsibilities in regard to chil
 d protection
