DESCRIPTION:This training is designed for staff who have regular contact wi
 th children\, young people and/or family members\, including those working
  within adult services. The course aims to help practitioners understand t
 heir roles and responsibilities in child protection.\n\nWhat can I expect 
 from this training?\n\nBy the end of this training\, staff should:\n\n 	Be
  able to identify signs of abuse and neglect\n 	Be able to respond to dire
 ct disclosures of abuse\n 	Be confident in sharing concerns about children
 \n 	Know how and where to record information\n\nWho should attend?\n\nThis
  course is specifically designed for those who:\n\n 	Have regular contact 
 with children and families\n 	Carry out direct work with children and fami
 lies\n 	Contribute to assessments of children\, including assessment of ri
 sk and/or\n 	Have professional responsibilities for child protection (Plea
 se note: All registered health and social care staff should undertake this
  training course as a minimum requirement)\n
