DESCRIPTION:This is an Face to Face Training Course - at Inverness Leisure.
  o\n\nThis training is designed for staff who have regular contact with ch
 ildren and/or families\, including those working within adult services. Th
 is course takes a more in depth look at the different types of abuse and n
 eglect\, as well as giving participants information about managing disclos
 ures and handling sensitive situations.\n\nWhat can I expect from this tra
 ining?\n\nBy the end of this training\, staff should:\n•Be able to ident
 ify types of abuse and neglect\n•Recognise specific vulnerabilities in c
 hildren and young people\n•Be confident in sharing concerns about childr
 en\n•Know their roles and responsibilities in relation to child protecti
 on\n\nWho should attend?\n\nAll staff who have regular contact with childr
 en and young people and/or their family members should attend this trainin
 g.\n\nIn particular those staff who:\n• Have regular contact with vulner
 able children and families\n• Carry out direct work with children and fa
 milies\n• Contribute to assessments of children\, including assessment o
 f risk\n• May be required to support the development and delivery of the
  Child’s Plan\n• Have specific responsibilities in regard to child pro
 tection
