DESCRIPTION:\nHighland GIRFEC Training - Full Day - In Person- The Pentland
  Hotel\nThurso (Cluster : Farr\, KLB\, Thurso\, Wick\, Golspie )\nThese se
 ssions aim to refresh and develop the shared understanding of Getting It R
 ight for Every Child across the partnership. This is in response to an ide
 ntified request through the GIRFEC refresh and reset sessions to strengthe
 n the approaches to GIRFEC in Highland.\n\nThe sessions will focus on the 
 key elements of the Practice Model\, Early Assessment and Planning\, Infor
 mation Sharing in a Multi-Agency World\, Assessing and Managing Risk and B
 uilding Chronologies.\n\nOpen to all multi-agency practitioners\, managers
  and staff who support children and families particularly those whom are i
 nvolved in child's plans and/or undertake ( or in preparation to undertake
 ) the role as Named person or lead professional in Highland working with c
 hildren and families.\n\nWe ask you book the geographical area closest to 
 your location of work to promote connections made with colleagues in your 
 area.\n\nVenue and more details will be sent on booking confirmation\, ple
 ase note there is a pre attendance emodule (approx 2 hours) to complete be
 fore attending which will be sent out prior to the event. Those who have a
 lready completed this prior to the GIRFEC Refresh and Reset Session are no
 t required to complete this again.\n\nThe emodule can be found on by follo

 d Council Staff on Train Easy and this will save a record of learning.\n\n
 The course is complimented by the Highland Solution Focused Approaches tra
 ining and Solution Focused Meeting course\n\nPlaces are available free of 
 charge but may be limited per team/service/agency depending on demand.\n\n
 Please note\, the CPC do operate a non-attendance charge of £30 if places
  are not taken up and no notice is given (at least 48 hours before event).
