DESCRIPTION:\nHighland GIRFEC Training - Thurso - Full Day - In Person\nThe
 se sessions aim to refresh and develop the shared understanding of Getting
  It Right for Every Child across the partnership. This is in response to a
 n identified request through the GIRFEC refresh and reset sessions to stre
 ngthen the approaches to GIRFEC in Highland.\n\nThe sessions will focus on
  the key elements of the Practice Model\, Early Assessment and Planning\, 
 Information Sharing in a Multi-Agency World\, Assessing and Managing Risk 
 and Building Chronologies.\n\nOpen to all multi-agency practitioners\, man
 agers and staff who support children and families particularly those whom 
 are involved in child's plans and/or undertake ( or in preparation to unde
 rtake) the role as Named person or lead professional in Highland working w
 ith children and families.\n\nWe ask you book the geographical area closes
 t to your location of work to promote connections made with colleagues in 
 your area.\n\nVenue and more details will be sent on booking confirmation\
 , please note there is a pre attendance emodule (approx 2 hours) to comple
 te before attending which will be sent out prior to the event. Those who h
 ave already completed this prior to the GIRFEC Refresh and Reset Session a
 re not required to complete this again.\n\nThe emodule can be found on by

 ghland Council Staff on Train Easy and this will save a record of learning
 .\n\nThe course compliments the Highland Solution Focused Approaches train
 ing and Solution Focused Meeting course\n\nPlaces are available free of ch
 arge but may be limited per team/service/agency depending on demand.\n\nPl
 ease note\, the CPC do operate a non-attendance charge of £30 if places a
 re not taken up and no notice is given (at least 48 hours before event).
