DESCRIPTION:\nHighland GIRFEC Training - Lochaber\, Nevis Centre - Full Day
  - In Person\nThese sessions aim to refresh and develop the shared underst
 anding of Getting It Right for Every Child across the partnership. This is
  in response to an identified request through the GIRFEC refresh and reset
  sessions to strengthen the approaches to GIRFEC in Highland.\n\nThe sessi
 ons will focus on the key elements of the Practice Model\, Early Assessmen
 t and Planning\, Information Sharing in a Multi-Agency World\, Assessing a
 nd Managing Risk and Building Chronologies.\n\nOpen to all multi-agency pr
 actitioners\, managers and staff who support children and families particu
 larly those whom are involved in child's plans and/or undertake ( or in pr
 eparation to undertake) the role as Named person or lead professional in H
 ighland working with children and families.\n\nWe ask you book the geograp
 hical area closest to your location of work to promote connections made wi
 th colleagues in your area.\n\nVenue and more details will be sent on book
 ing confirmation\, please note there is a pre attendance emodule (approx 2
  hours) to complete before attending which will be sent out prior to the e
 vent. Those who have already completed this prior to the GIRFEC Refresh an
 d Reset Session are not required to complete this again.\n\nThe emodule ca

 be accessed by Highland Council Staff on Train Easy and this will save a r
 ecord of learning.\n\nThe course compliments the Highland Solution Focused
  Approaches training and Solution Focused Meeting course\n\nPlaces are ava
 ilable free of charge but may be limited per team/service/agency depending
  on demand.\n\nPlease note\, the CPC do operate a non-attendance charge of
  £30 if places are not taken up and no notice is given (at least 48 hours
  before event).
