This is in response to the findings from our Children’s Service Inspection for children at ris k of harm\, and the updating of the Highland Practice Guidance/Child Prote ction Procedures.\n\nYou will have the opportunity to review the updated P ractice Model and Child Protection Guidance for Highland\, and discuss key issues in small working groups. The sessions will focus on the key elemen ts of the Practice Model\, changes to Child Protection procedures\, and th e wider training required by staff and services across the Partnership.\n\ nThis is your chance to contribute to the implementation of the updated Gu idance based on the National GIRFEC model and National Child Protection Gu idance.\nOpen to all practitioners\, managers\, senior leaders and service s in Highland working with children and families.\nVenue and more details will be sent on booking confirmation\, please note there is a pre attendan ce emodule (approx 2 hours) to complete before attending which will be sen t out prior to the event.\n\nPlaces are available free of charge but may b e limited per team/service/agency depending on demand.\n\nPlease note\, th e CPC do operate a non-attendance charge of £30 if places are not taken u p and no notice is given (at least 48 hours before event).
