DESCRIPTION:\nHighland GIRFEC Refresh &amp\; Reset - Fort William\nThese se
 ssions aim to refresh and develop a shared understanding of Getting It Rig
 ht for Every Child across the partnership. This is in response to the find
 ings from our Children’s Service Inspection for children at risk of harm
 \, and the updating of the Highland Practice Guidance/Child Protection Pro
 cedures.\n\nYou will have the opportunity to review the updated Practice M
 odel and Child Protection Guidance for Highland\, and discuss key issues i
 n small working groups. The sessions will focus on the key elements of the
  Practice Model\, changes to Child Protection procedures\, and the wider t
 raining required by staff and services across the Partnership.\n\nThis is 
 your chance to contribute to the implementation of the updated Guidance ba
 sed on the National GIRFEC model and National Child Protection Guidance.\n
 Open to all practitioners\, managers\, senior leaders and services in High
 land working with children and families.\nVenue and more details will be s
 ent on booking confirmation\, please note there is a pre attendance emodul
 e (approx 2 hours) to complete before attending which will be sent out pri
 or to the event.\n\nPlaces are available free of charge but may be limited
  per team/service/agency depending on demand.\n\nPlease note\, the CPC do 
 operate a non-attendance charge of £30 if places are not taken up and no 
 notice is given (at least 48 hours before event).
