 e Future...........\nAlbert Einstein\nBookings are now open for our annual
  Conference.  The theme for this year's event is learning from the past t
 o inform the future.\n\nThe Conference is specifically targeted at front l
 ine practitioners working with children\, young people and families includ
 ing those working in adult services.\n\nContent will include:\n\n 	Review 
 of the Year - what's happened in child protection in 2017?\n 	Launch of th
 e updated Child Protection Guidance\n 	Learning from Case Reviews - findin
 gs and themes\n 	Hearing the views of children\, families and practitioner
 s in Highland\n\nThere will also be a range of workshops highlighting tool
 s available to practitioners working directly with children and families a
 ffected by substance misuse and neglect\, as well as a range of informativ
 e sessions on issues such as investigative interviewing. Further details o
 f the workshops are still being finalised and will follow.\n\nPlaces are a
 vailable free of charge but may be limited to one per team/service/agency 
 depending on demand. Please note\, the CPC do operate a non-attendance cha
 rge of £30 if places are not taken up and no notice is given (at least 
 48 hours before event).\n\nA light lunch will be included. Vegetarian opti
 ons are always provided but please do let us know if you have any dietary
  needs. Unfortunately due to the scale of this event we cannot cater for 
 all dietary preferences. However\, an on-site cafe is available if you wou
 ld prefer to purchase an alternative option. Please call us on 01463 70344
