SUMMARY:Graded Care Profile Training - Level 3 - Inverness
DESCRIPTION:About the Training\nGraded Care Profile 2 is an assessment tool
  that measures the quality of care being given to a child. The tool helps 
 professionals identify signs of neglect and areas where a family may need 
 additional help and support.\nIn order to become licensed to use the tool\
 , practitioners must attend this training.\nThe training is a 4 hour cours
 e that helps practitioners familiarise themselves with the GCP2 and have a
 n opportunity to practice using the tool.\nPre-requisites\nPractitioners m
 ust have attended core child protection training within the last 3 years (
 Developing Competence in Child Protection or equivalent).\nWho should atte
 nd?\nThis training is for key professionals who have regular and direct co
 ntact with children and families.\nThese professionals include\n• Practi
 ce Leads\,\n• Social Workers\,\n• Health Visitors\,\n• Head Teachers
 /Deputes/Guidance Staff\,\n• Children’s Service Workers/Community Chil
 dren’s Workers\n• Early Years Practitioners.\nAlthough not an exclusiv
 e list\, these groups will be given priority places. Awareness raising for
  other groups will be rolled out later in the year.
