DESCRIPTION:About the Training\n\nGraded Care Profile 2 is an assessment to
 ol that measures the quality of care being given to a child. The tool help
 s professionals identify signs of neglect and areas where a family may nee
 d additional help and support.\nHighland will roll out the Graded Care Pro
 file throughout 2018/19. In order to become licensed to use the tool\, pra
 ctitioners must attend this training.\n\nThe training is a one-day course 
 that helps practitioners familiarise themselves with the GCP and have an o
 pportunity to practice using the tool.\n\nPre-requisites\nPractitioners mu
 st have attended core child protection training within the last 3 years.\n
 \nWho should attend?\nThis training is for key professionals who have regu
 lar and direct contact with children and families.\nThese professionals in
 clude\n• Practice Leads\,\n• Social Workers\,\n• Health Visitors\,\n
 • Head Teachers/Deputes/Guidance Staff\,\n• Children’s Service Worke
 rs/Community Children’s Workers\n• Early Years Practitioners.\n\nAltho
 ugh not an exclusive list\, these groups will be given priority places. Aw
 areness raising for other groups will be rolled out later in the year.
