DESCRIPTION:About the Training\nGraded Care Profile 2 is an assessment tool
  that measures the quality of care being given to a child. The tool helps 
 professionals identify signs of neglect and areas where a family may need 
 additional help and support.\nHighland will roll out the Graded Care Profi
 le throughout 2018/19. In order to become licensed to use the tool\, pract
 itioners must attend this training.\nThe training is a one-day course that
  helps practitioners familiarise themselves with the GCP and have an oppor
 tunity to practice using the tool.\nPre-requisites\nPractitioners must hav
 e attended core child protection training within the last 3 years (Assessm
 ent &amp\; Analysis/Understanding Child Protection Processes or equivalent
 ).\nWho should attend?\nThis training is for key professionals who have re
 gular and direct contact with children and families.\nThese professionals 
 include\n• Practice Leads\,\n• Social Workers\,\n• Health Visitors\,
 \n• Head Teachers/Deputes/Guidance Staff\,\n• Children’s Service Wor
 kers/Community Children’s Workers\n• Early Years Practitioners.\nAltho
 ugh not an exclusive list\, these groups will be given priority places. Aw
 areness raising for other groups will be rolled out later in the year.
