 .\n\nThis training is designed for staff who have regular contact with chi
 ldren and/or families\, including those working within adult services. Thi
 s course takes a more in depth look at the different types of abuse and ne
 glect\, as well as giving participants information about managing disclosu
 res and handling sensitive situations.\n\nWhat can I expect from this trai
 ning?\n\nBy the end of this training\, staff should:\n•Be able to identi
 fy types of abuse and neglect\n•Recognise specific vulnerabilities in ch
 ildren and young people\n•Be confident in sharing concerns about childre
 n\n•Know their roles and responsibilities in relation to child protectio
 n\n\nWho should attend?\n\nAll staff who have regular contact with childre
 n and young people and/or their family members should attend this training
 .\n\nIn particular those staff who:\n• Have regular contact with vulnera
 ble children and families\n• Carry out direct work with children and fam
 ilies\n• Contribute to assessments of children\, including assessment of
  risk\n• May be required to support the development and delivery of the 
 Child’s Plan\n• Have specific responsibilities in regard to child prot
 ection
