 .\n\n\nThis training is designed for staff who have regular contact with c
 hildren and/or families\, including those working within adult services. T
 his course takes a more in depth look at the different types of abuse and 
 neglect\, as well as giving participants information about managing disclo
 sures and handling sensitive situations.\n\nWhat can I expect from this tr
 aining?\n\nBy the end of this training\, staff should:\n•Be able to iden
 tify types of abuse and neglect\n•Recognise specific vulnerabilities in 
 children and young people\n•Be confident in sharing concerns about child
 ren\n•Know their roles and responsibilities in relation to child protect
 ion\n\nWho should attend?\n\nAll staff who have regular contact with child
 ren and young people and/or their family members should attend this traini
 ng.\n\nIn particular those staff who:\n• Have regular contact with vulne
 rable children and families\n• Carry out direct work with children and f
 amilies\n• Contribute to assessments of children\, including assessment 
 of risk\n• May be required to support the development and delivery of th
