 egular contact with children and/or families\, including those working wit
 hin adult services. This course takes a more in depth look at the differen
 t types of abuse and neglect\, as well as giving participants information 
 about managing disclosures and handling sensitive situations.\n\nWhat can 
 I expect from this training?\n\nBy the end of this training\, staff should
 :\n•Be able to identify types of abuse and neglect\n•Recognise specifi
 c vulnerabilities in children and young people\n•Be confident in sharing
  concerns about children\n•Know their roles and responsibilities in rela
 tion to child protection\n\nWho should attend?\n\nAll staff who have regul
 ar contact with children and young people and/or their family members shou
 ld attend this training.\n\nIn particular those staff who:\n• Have regul
 ar contact with vulnerable children and families\n• Carry out direct wor
 k with children and families\n• Contribute to assessments of children\, 
 including assessment of risk\n• May be required to support the developme
 nt and delivery of the Child’s Plan\n• Have specific responsibilities 
 in regard to child protection
