It helps staff re cognise and respond to non‑verbal communication and remove barriers to p articipation\, strengthening relationships between learners and educators. \nConnect with practitioners across Highland\, and hear from local and nat ional voices\, to explore how we can meaningfully embed the Highland Child ren &\; Young People Participation Strategy in everyday practice.\nMont hly sessions will include:\n\n\n Presentations from local or national spe akers\n Q&\;A to deepen understanding\n Time for conversation\, netwo rking and informal sharing to support collaboration across Highland\n\nTog ether\, we’ll look at how others are working with children and young peo ple to bring the Strategy to life and strengthen participation across serv ices.\nOur work is underpinned by the Lundy Model of Participation\, the U NCRC\, GIRFEC\, and The Promise.\nSupporting rights‑based\, inclusive an d relational practice.\nOpen to all practitioners engaging with children a nd young people across Highland.\nThis session is suitable for all sectors and any practitioner or manager working or engaging with Children and Fam ilies in Highland.\n\nThis is an online event.  Format will be presentati on (presentation recorded only cameras and mics will be switched during th is period)\, followed by question and answer session and group discussion (not recorded).\n\nBooking link will be sent on confirmation of booking.
