DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Community of Practice Session with special gues
 t Caitlin Campbell and Clare Pilkington from Scottish Autism\n\nThe sessio
 n is about supporting voice and participation locally with a neurodivergen
 t/autism lens.... Some key points for the session\;\n\n\n\n\nSupporting di
 scussions to go back to basics in terms of what is voice and different way
 s of capturing\, what is participation and what can this look like.\nImpor
 tance of listening to all forms of voice and participation\nImportance of 
 relationships and trust\, why is it important?\nHow can it be embedded in 
 practice i.e. from a child plans perspective etc\nShowcasing tools to supp
 ort voice and participation for key things like discussions around a child
 's plan.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\n\nConnect with practitioners acro
 ss Highland\, and hear from local and national voices\, to explore how we 
 can meaningfully embed the Highland Children &amp\; Young People Participa
 tion Strategy in everyday practice.\nMonthly sessions will include:\n\n\n 
 	Presentations from local or national speakers\n 	Q&amp\;A to deepen under
 standing\n 	Time for conversation\, networking and informal sharing to sup
 port collaboration across Highland\n\nTogether\, we’ll look at how other
 s are working with children and young people to bring the Strategy to life
  and strengthen participation across services.\nOur work is underpinned by
  the Lundy Model of Participation\, the UNCRC\, GIRFEC\, and The Promise.\
 nSupporting rights‑based\, inclusive and relational practice.\nOpen to a
 ll practitioners engaging with children and young people across Highland.\
 nThis session is suitable for all sectors and any practitioner or manager 
 working or engaging with Children and Families in Highland.\n\nThis is an 
 online event.  Format will be presentation (presentation recorded only ca
 meras and mics will be switched during this period)\, followed by question
  and answer session and group discussion (not recorded).\n\nBooking link w
