 hild Health Promise Speech &amp\; Language Therapists Joanne Johnson and S
 hona MacPherson.\n\nWhat is communication? Linking Speech\, Language and C
 ommunication Differences to UNCRC and The Promise.\nMany Children and Youn
 g People who are care experienced have unidentified speech\, language and 
 communication needs. In order to continue to #KeepThePromie this session w
 ill look at what commincation is and the different ways we communicate. We
 'll discuss what happens when communication breaks down and what can we al
 l to do support our children and young people who are care experienced whe
 n this happens.\nConnect with practitioners across Highland\, and hear fro
 m local and national voices\, to explore how we can meaningfully embed the
  Highland Children &amp\; Young People Participation Strategy in everyday 
 practice.\nMonthly sessions will include:\n\n\n 	Presentations from local 
 or national speakers\n 	Q&amp\;A to deepen understanding\n 	Time for conve
 rsation\, networking and informal sharing to support collaboration across 
 Highland\n\nTogether\, we’ll look at how others are working with childre
 n and young people to bring the Strategy to life and strengthen participat
 ion across services.\nOur work is underpinned by the Lundy Model of Partic
 ipation\, the UNCRC\, GIRFEC\, and The Promise.\nSupporting rights‑based
 \, inclusive and relational practice.\nOpen to all practitioners engaging 
 with children and young people across Highland.\nThis session is suitable 
 for all sectors and any practitioner or manager working or engaging with C
 hildren and Families in Highland.\n\nThis is an online event.  Format wil
 l be presentation (presentation recorded only cameras and mics will be swi
 tched during this period)\, followed by question and answer session and gr
 oup discussion (not recorded).\n\nBooking link will be sent on confirmatio
